Strength meets style
In modern architecture and design, steel is used in a wide array of facilities due to its cost efficiency, its malleability, and its strength. Beginning in the 1920s, builders began to rely on steel to support the increasingly large structures springing up throughout the world.
Saffron, in contrast, is the world’s most expensive spice and has been used to enhance culinary flavors for thousands of years. It is extremely laborious to cultivate, but adding even a little bit to a recipe results in numerous benefits, not to mention gorgeous color and flavor. In design, too, adding just a pinch of spice – whether through color, accessories, or art – can elevate the style of a space.
At Steel & Saffron, we believe the intersection between the necessary and the ancillary, accessibility and luxury, and strength and style is where true harmony lies – in life as well as in design. We strive to provide the resources to ground design and décor decisions, as well as the flourishes of luxury that will inspire personal, unique style and a flavorful life.
